It’s National Child Protection Week (6–12 September). This year’s theme is “Every Conversation Matters, Shifting Conversation to Action”, and there’s a lot already worth celebrating in what churches like yours do for kids and volunteers every week of the year, not just this one.
To mark it, we put together a ready-to-send email for your own families, it covers: age-by-age conversation guides, online safety tips, and NAPCAN’s own free kit (posters, social tiles, kids’ activities). Copy it, add your church’s name, and it’s ready to go out this week.
While you’re at it: if you’ve got two minutes, it’s worth checking where your own team’s screening and training stand. For most of you it’s already sorted, in which case that’s your own action for the week, done. If anything’s outstanding, you can see it here.
